Search for Change offers supportive housing programs in Westchester and Putnam Counties for individuals recovering from serious mental illness. Our services are designed to foster self-sufficiency, independence, and long-term recovery.
We operate 24-hour Supervised Community Residences and Supportive Apartment Treatment programs, licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. Each participant works with our team to develop personalized recovery goals and treatment plans, guided by the principles of psychiatric rehabilitation and our commitment to a recovery-oriented approach.

24-Hour Supervised
Community Residence
This level of OMH treatment housing has shared living accommodations for 8-10 adults. Residents have access to staff for support 24 hours a day. Services provided are geared towards improving stability and enhancing individual independence.

Supportive Apartment
Treatment Program
An OMH licensed program which provides adults a shared apartment, in the community. Staff provides support by providing rehabilitative services designed to improve functioning and develop greater independence.

Scattered Site
Supportive Housing
Supportive Housing is independent housing that meets the needs of the residents by providing support that is integrated within the community. This program offers residents assistance in maintaining housing and making connections in the community.
