Search for Change provides housing and residential services in both Westchester and Putnam County. We support those working on their recovery from a serious mental illness with services specifically designed to promote self- sufficiency and independence.

Our 24 hour Supervised Community Residences and Supportive Apartment Treatment programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health.  Program participants are assisted in developing personalized recovery goals and treatment plans in accordance with the principles of psychiatric rehabilitation and the agency’s recovery-oriented mission.

24-Hour Supervised
Community Residence

This level of OMH treatment housing has shared living accommodations for 8-10 adults. Residents have access to staff for support 24 hours a day. Services provided are geared towards improving stability and enhancing individual independence.

Supportive Apartment
Treatment Program

An OMH licensed program which provides adults a shared apartment, in the community. Staff provides support by providing rehabilitative services designed to improve functioning and develop greater independence.

Supportive Housing

Supportive Housing is independent housing that meets the needs of the residents by providing support that is integrated within the community. This program offers residents assistance in maintaining housing and making connections in the community.
