We are pleased to welcome Dr. Claus von Schorn to the Search for Change Board of Directors!
Dr. von Schorn currently serves as Chairperson for the Departments of Psychiatry at Montefiore Mt. Vernon and Montefiore New Rochelle Hospitals. He has also served as Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Assistant Director of Medical Education for Compass Medical Education Network, and Co-Founder, Instructor, and Translator for the American Medical Language Service.
Dr. von Schorn maintains affiliations with the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry, New York State Psychiatric Association, Westchester Psychiatric Society, American Medical Association, and Medical Society of the State of New York. He is also a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
He has been recognized for Excellence in Health Care by the United Hospital Fund and Outstanding Instructor of the Year by Compass Medical Education Network. He is also a recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
